Get up close and personal with the natural world in this hands-on macro photography workshop set in the lush and vibrant LA Arboretum & Botanic Garden. This class is designed for photographers who want to explore the fascinating details of flowers, plants, insects, and textures through the lens of a macro or close-up capable camera.
You’ll learn techniques for composition, focusing, and depth of field unique to macro work, as well as how to make the most of natural light and deal with challenging backgrounds. The Arboretum’s stunning gardens provide an ideal setting to practice capturing the hidden beauty of small subjects in a variety of environments.
