Learn how to shoot the Milky Way and Star Trails in this Night Sky Photography Workshop!

Milky Way and Star Trails

• Learn best practices for camera set up

• Which exposure modes to use and why

• Learn how to lock in manual focus and why

• Learn how to shoot multiple images

• Learn how to use a remote shutter

• How and why to locate the north star

Post Processing

• Learn how to stack multiple images in Lr/Ps

• Learn how to edit out airplanes and satellites

• Learn how to create the final image ready for printing

• Learn how to Adjust white balance – less brown, more blue

• Learn how to Apply noise reduction filter (modest)

• Learn how to Increase Saturation

• Learn how to Reduce chromatic aberration (color-fringing)

• Learn how to Correct vignetting issues

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• Camera (spare batteries and memory cards recommended)
• Tripod
• Wired remote trigger
• Wide-angle lenses
• Comfortable walking shoes and clothes
• Water
• Snacks
