Day 1 (Friday): We will explore Boy Scout Trail and discover the beauty of the desert. After the sun goes down, there will be opportunities for light painting and star trials. Learn about the equipment and techniques needed to make creative star trails and night sky photographs. Star trails require long exposures, a sturdy tripod, lockable remote release.

Day 2 (Saturday): We will explore the heart of Joshua Tree and be guided to prime locations such as Arch Rock, Skull Rock, and Juniper Rock. Learn about the equipment and techniques needed to make creative night sky photographs. You will learn how to capture the Milky Way and stars with optimal camera settings. Come learn how to make these captivating images.
