One Day Photography Workshop in Borrego Springs

Surrounded by desert beauty, Borrego Springs is set in the midst of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Its natural habitat is exciting to experience, appreciate and see. It is the perfect place  to learn, to add to your photography skills and absorb the environment.

Photography Course On Location

Workshop Itinerary :

Saturday Morning-Early Afternoon:

  • We will meet in the lobby of the hotel at 10 am.
    and then set out to go to the Salton Sea.
  • We will review the Photography Basics
    Go over Composition techniques
    Talk about and Shutter Speed.
    Discuss Aperture
  • We will shoot the very interesting Salton Sea ruins.

(We will break late afternoon and have an early dinner.)

Saturday Afternoon-Sunset:

  • We will visit the statues in and around the Anza Borrego Desert
  • Photograph stunning canyons and sunsets.

Saturday Evening:

  • We will go back out and shoot stars and learn light painting.

 

Every photographer will find the location and instruction informative and inspirational. You’ll have more than enough time to shoot creatively, and to adjust your exposure. Participants will learn to work as a team in photography, camera-handling techniques, control of natural light, and how to create photos with emotional effect.
