Adobe Photoshop gives the photographer the creative tools and workflow to take a great image to one that is stunning and filled with emotion at many levels.
The goal of every photographer is to deliver more than the camera sees. They want their viewers to experience what they felt at the time they captured the image. Adobe Photoshop gives the photographer the creative tools and workflow to take a great image to one that is stunning and filled with emotion at many levels. With Adobe Photoshop you can enhance an image, or if you like, simply create your own reality, or the reality desired by clients.
Photoshop for Photographers is for those photographers who want to extend their ability to express themselves by creating work that says and does more then what the camera captured. Within three days, you will learn the tools and workflow you need for correcting, enhancing, and producing images beyond Lightroom that are unique to your visual voice. You will learn new skills in class and then apply them to your own work. By the time you leave, you will be able to seamlessly move from Lightroom to Photoshop and back, retouch portraits, enhance landscapes and products, create composites, and learn how to think in Photoshop because you will apply these skills to your own work with an instructor at your side.
At the California Center for Digital Arts, teachers are mentors and learning is hands-on. This methodology encourages you to learn Adobe Photoshop by doing, not by watching pre-recorded tutorials. For three days, you will immerse yourself in the fundamentals and real world techniques that will build your skills and confidence. You will work with our images and the ones you feel most passionate about— yours.
